Twelve Clans Unity Hospital, named in honor of the twelve traditional clans of the Winnebago Tribe is a full-service state of the art facility, providing inpatient, outpatient and emergency care to the Winnebago community and Native Americans. Serving an estimated 10,000 Native Americans who live on the Winnebago Reservation and in the surrounding region, the hospital is dedicated to offering the highest quality medical services through state-of-the art technology, highly trained medical professionals and dynamic partnerships with top medical organizations and providers by providing patient-centered health care that is respectful of Tribal beliefs. The Winnebago Reservation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is located in Thurston County, Nebraska. The tribal council offices are located in the town of Winnebago. The villages of Emerson, south of First Street, as well as Thurston, are also located on the reservation. Winnebago is located 72 miles from Omaha, NE and 99 miles from Lincoln, NE.
