Part one: One system’s operational, staffing, and core metric transformation

In part one of this feature, we detail a client relationship that began with multiple staffing and operational challenges, and resulted in measurable success.

SCP Health entered into a partnership with a Virginia health system that was struggling to recruit and retain clinicians. Inconsistent staffing had led to unstable finances, sluggish metrics, and low overall morale. To complicate matters more, the system’s leadership was disappointed with their previous management company.

SCP Health entered into this situation eager to establish transparency and open lines of communication. Out of that grew a deep understanding of the system’s needs, the leadership team’s goals, and the steps needed to meet or exceed both.
